I am an educator within Indianapolis Public Schools. This is my fifth year teaching and becoming an educator within an urban community has really shaped the person I am today. I believe that educating and empowering the youth is the way to bring about the systemic changes that we need to see in our society.  Over the summer I got the privilege to become involved with Listen To Our Future to help with the Power Parade. Becoming a part of this organization has been a blessing in my life. I am super excited to educate the youth and see how they are able to make changes within their communities.  I have a cat named Speckles. and I enjoy running.

I am excited to be working with Listen To Our Future because I am very committed to empowering students to have the confidence to challenge their own capacities; students need to know that their presence in the community is valuable and that they are capable of achieving great success.
