Board of Directors

Brandon Street

I am the co-founder and board chairman of Listen to Our Future. I am an entrepreneur from Indianapolis, IN. I have a passion for business development, digital media, and blockchain technology. I also have a strong commitment to education, particularly in under-served communities. I am driven by a desire to make a positive impact in the world and to inspire and empower the next generation of entrepreneurs and leaders. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve on the board and excited for what the future holds.

Mitchell Asemota

I am the Executive Director and co-founder of Our Streets PDX. I was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. I have over five years of experience as a special education educator and have also worked as a camp director. I obtained the majority of my education through Washington Township Schools. I enjoy uniting the community to discuss, strategize, and implement change to systemic issues that beset our society. I am looking forward to being a part of the Listen to Our Future Board of Directors and working to implement change in our society.

Leadership Staff

Lillian Barkes: CEO

I am the co-founder and CEO of Listen to Our Future. I was born in China and grew up in Indianapolis. I graduated from IUPUI in 2019 with a degree in Elementary Education, a dual license in reading, and a concentration in math and science. I have been in education and youth work for the past 9 years as an after-school youth worker, cheerleading coach, summer camp counselor, and teacher. I enjoy being creative and exploring new places in the city.

Hailey Haynes: Program Manager

I am a Program Manager with Listen to Our Future. I was born and raised in the Central Indiana area. I graduated from IUPUI in 2019 with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and a concentration in reading. I taught in Indianapolis Public Schools and Pike Township for three years. In my spare time, I love spending time with my son and husband and doing family outings together.

Kimberley Woolen: Staffing and Communications Coordinator

I am the Staffing & Communication Coordinator with Listen to Our Future. I grew up in Indianapolis and earned my B.A. in English from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College through the Distance Learning Program. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in my garden, with my pets, or lost in a good book.

Jake Gadomski: Program Manager

I earned my degree in Music Teacher Education from IU Bloomington's Jacobs School of Music. I worked as a music teacher for the past five years with every grade level K-12. Some of my favorite things include Wicked, Mean Girls, and working out! I also sing professionally and instruct in voice and piano.
